Great area. Lori Wilson Park is the perfect place for a beachside picnic or family get-together, complete with pavilions, a playground, and barbecue grills.

There were kids and their parents frolicking in the water and people playing frisbee,  but none of  it mattered.

Get washed up The amenities offered at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, FL include everything to keep your whole gang comfortable: three pavilions located along a 1,000-foot boardwalk, six dune crossovers, restrooms, three outdoor showers, and drinking fountains. Free parking. If you value a place to change comfortably, clean bathrooms, and working showers, then I recommend looking elsewhere.Filthy bathrooms, showers that did not work (all but one control button worked), very soft wood on beach access walkway. Great dog park when you enter in the back of the parking lot.

.parking.....clean sunny space....almost no shade....spacious for children to run around.This “park” has access to the beach and doesn’t cost anything. Its free and has easy beach access. Away from the hustle and bustle of the pier itself parking it ample and always available. Summer time can also have bioluminescent phytoplankton called Dinoflagellates. Yes FREE. parking is tight, but we've always found something (and it's free) the restrooms are large and the showers always work. There is a lifeguard on duty which is a nice perk and there are umbrella rentals available as well. There are not many places left in Cocoa Beach that offer free parking, Lori Wilson Park is one of them. I am so happy we discovered Lori Wilson Park.

And considering there's no charge for parking, this is a fantastic deal. This is a nice local beach with free Parking. You can rent two lounge chairs and an umbrella, already set up for you on the beach! Been visiting this park for over 20 years now and never once a complailnt. The experience was just so fantastically enjoyable and relaxing.Free parking, outdoor shower, bathroom...all within a close walk to the beach (just at the end of the boardwalk). There are not many places left in Cocoa Beach that offer free parking, Lori Wilson Park is one of them. Safe and easy, free from the crowds of other companies. The beach access is perfect, and it has the hotel bar right next door. The Dog Park opened on July 22, 2006 and it was a joint venture of the City of Cocoa Beach and Brevard County.

$20 for a whole day!! The kids got treats. Free parking, close bathrooms & showers, and quieter atmosphere. There was even a little "food truck" selling snow cones and other drinks. Bioluminescent sparking comb jellies are in the water year round creating a truly phenomenal effect as you explore through the Banana River Lagoon Nature Preserve. Nice touch is take a toy  leave a toy box at the beach entrance. It's also close enough to businesses, etc. $20 for a whole day! on duty here and its a very short walk from parking to beach., already set up for you on the beach! Lori Wilson has events and festivals in it, sometimes, so I would be careful about the parking situation on the weekends. Waves were strong and sand was clean. The parking lot is not huge so if you're planning on going it's best to do so early in the morning or late afternoon. Lifeguard explained that the beach is open for pets in the morning....he seemed exasperated and tired of explaining the crazy rules.Great access to a great beach. What's not to love? Located in the heart of Cocoa Beach is a seaside park lush with dunes and coastal hammocks. 1 hour drive from West side of Orando to parking. There are bathrooms/changing rooms onsite. This dog park has seperate sections for big dogs and little dogs, both of which are well fenced. Well kept park with something for everyone.

On the day I chose to come,  there was a small crowd, but I was never bothered by noise or sand being kicked around. Best part if you are staying in Orlando, it's 1 hr away and parking is free just get there early to get a spot.
