Take the Bel-Air entrance to avoid the parking fee, but even then, you'll be confronted by muddy trails full of snakes and flooded riverwater.

They have ample parking, nice clean bathrooms where you can apparently shower as well, picnic tables, grills etc. The #GunpowderFallsStatePark never disappoints. A few water holes to chill and sun bathe in.This is a great place to take a quick hike.

This is a pain for this mom of 2. The entry fees tend to vary, in the summer months they charge by person rather than the $3 per car fee they have in the fall and make sure you bring exact change because they have envelopes at the entrance using the honor system when the booth is unmanned.
