Wish I had one like this at my own house. Nice deck overlooking the large rocky shore and the lake. With the low density of cabins around you will have more quiet and privacy than at some of the other options on the lake. The National Forest Service roads and the Lake Superior Hiking trails are where we hang out to enjoy nature. The cabins are supposed to have all the utensils you need in the kitchen and we couldn't find the things we needed.

Some of the appliances were outdated, especially the microwave. Well equipped kitchen. All are fully furnished with kitchen amenities, bed linens and towels. We were both very disappointed as we were going to bring my mother back to this place the following year.. which will not be happening.We stayed four nights in the Phoenix cabin at Sugar Beach and hated that we had to leave. Don't let that fool you. Recommend bringing your own drinking water. My family has been visiting Sugar Beach every fall for the last 40 years.
